My name is Gyasi Zardes, and after a 13-year professional soccer career, I’m excited to use my experience to help develop the next generation of players. My journey took me from youth soccer to college, Major League Soccer, and ultimately the U.S. Men’s National Team. Along the way, I had the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of the game, learn from incredible coaches and teammates, and experience firsthand what it takes to develop, adapt, and perform consistently as a professional. Now, I want to pass those lessons on. My approach to player development goes beyond running drills. I want players to understand **why** we are working on something, **when** to use it, and **how** it translates to real game situations. Training is built around technical ability, finishing, movement, decision-making, confidence, soccer IQ, and the small details that can make a difference at the next level. Having experienced the pathway from youth soccer to college, the professional game, and international competition, I understand that development is a process and that every player’s journey looks different. My goal is to meet players where they are, challenge them appropriately, and give them tools they can carry into every training session and match. As a father of young athletes myself, I also understand the trust parents place in a coach or trainer. I want every player I work with to feel supported, challenged, and confident while developing strong habits both on and off the field. I spent my career learning what it takes to perform at the highest level. This next chapter is about sharing that knowledge and helping young players become more confident, intelligent, complete soccer players — while preparing them for wherever their journey may take them.
