Growing up in a football family, sports were a way of life. Both of my grandfathers were professionals, and my father was a Chilean football legend who became my absolute idol. He taught me invaluable lessons about the game, but more importantly, about life. Driven by a competitive spirit to keep up with my two older brothers—who also became pro players—I constantly pushed myself to improve. I am deeply grateful for my family because they taught me that success requires looking beyond the ball. They showed me that core team values and character are what truly make you a better player and decision-maker on the pitch.
